"Tee-gar" Chick...

Happy Saturday,

I finally get to sleep in tomorrow, Yayyyy to that :D!

I'm obsessed with tiger print (I call "tee-gar" ^^) shirt lately. It's kinda a new trend and I love it. Looking at a tiger, we see an image of wild, fierce, and strong. 

... and as you can see, I love gold, the color of luxe... The color itself always helps to make a statement to the outfit.  

My favorite faux leather mini-skirt can easily go with anything and today I decided to pair it with my "tee-gar" gold-chain tank top.

Here I am typing it up again, 

I just got back from a short weekend trip to L.A. and NYC.. I had a wonderful time with friends and my LOVE. 

...And I ate so much that I'm now having a food comma :(

I love everything about these two cities, the life style, the people, the foods, the cultures, the fashions, ... I mean EVERYTHING.

and ...Guess what guys? This girl, me, is moving to New York.

I can't wait and look forward to a new life there. It will be hard but this city has so much to offer and I'm gonna give myself a chance to take it.

 I'M EXCITED ... :D

Anyways, I'm all black. But I pick a bright pair of green ankle-strap sandals. That is to high light the outfit. For having a great love for shoes, I truly believe that a simple outfit can become sophisticated when pairs with a nice pair of heels/shoes/sandals. 

I love ankle-straps heels. I literally collect them.

You must know Aimee Song of Song of Style blog. She is my obsession and my inspiration. Her shoes collection is to die for. The fact is I can't afford her shoes :( but what I can afford is her inspiration. 

Trust me, you can wear a simple outfit but don't forget what shoes to go with because it can take your outfit to another level of fashion :)

Oh...Cheeky Chick!

Hello everyone,

How was your weekend? I worked and worked so hard so that I could look forward to this upcoming weekend I'd get to spend in L.A and NYC to celebrate my love's birthday.

Beside looking forward to a good weekend, I also look forward to gain some weights. ( I'm not so sure if this is good thing, but L.A and NYC have the best cuisine restaurants from all over the world... My cheeky face will be even cheekier next time you see me :D ...)

By the way, I have just changed my blog's name to "Oh.. Cheeky Chick"!
I just wanted to explain briefly the reason why. That was just because it  simply described me perfectly
1. I have a cheeky face
2. I'm.... uhmm... simply just a chick.
3. "Oh" is just because I want it to be there

Theory.in.Style was a two-second-thought name I had when I decided to start by blog.  I had thought of some other name that could describe me best and I came up with "Oh... Cheeky Chick!"

Anyways, I hope you all will have a great Monday. Whatever you're doing today, working, schooling, traveling, hanging out with friends, etc. Monday is the first day of the week, so remember dress to impress ^.^

Rumors...

Hi there,

Guess what I received today?

....

I received $1,000,000. (@-@ That is a lot of zero)!!!

...And of course, that was just kidding! +___+ (I wished it were true though)

Anyways, I wished one of my patient an early happy birthday today. He was so happy. He said "no one remembered but you did!" (Well I didn't, his prescription did). Thus, he pulled his wallet and said "Here you go young lady, thank you for remembering my birthday".  It was fun. I knew I made his day and he just made mine too (^.~).

Alright, now back to the business!

Though, false rumors often would boil your blood and fire would come out of your eyes (it happened to me ~_~) But, rumors aren't that bad all the time, sometime rumors get your name noticed ;)!

The New Icon

Hi All,

It's finally getting hot and I love it. The sun does feel great. Although, trees and flowers aren't blooming yet but you know, it finally feels like SPRING! :D

It's Monday, long day! Fortunately, I had today off, like an extended Sunday. I spent all day long outdoor with my brother. We spent a lot of times together lately since he became a bachelor again (don't tell him I tell you). We had coffee, we walked the park, we talked about daddy, mommy and of course cameras, his all time favorite things (I had to pretend to know a little bit). 

AFFORDABLE outfit: I wore this ripped boyfriend short which I loved very much from Forever 21. The New Icon T-shirt is from H&M's the New Icon' Collection ($9.95) which I also loved very much. And Zara heel sandals of course, they're one of the three pairs I had (I loved them so much that I bought all three colors). 

CAN-NOT-LIVE-WITHOUT items: This Kate Spade purse, easy daily lovely purse, is a gift from a friend, she loves me so much that she has one and she gets me one too. Michael Kors Gold Runway watch is always on-the-go wear and my Rayban Wayfarer is a definition of can-not-live-without.

Hello,

It's me again. I've been gone for a little while due to a family's business. Well, I'm back ^.^. How have every one been?

It's mid April already. Last time I check, this is Spring. IT'S SNOWING for 3 DAYS straight already.  Temperature is below 37*F for a couple of days now. ***BrwwBrww*** Where in the world did you go, Spring? I'm yearning for sunshine, warm temperature.

I stocked up my closet with Spring and Summer clothes but all I could do was to try them on and take them off in front of the mirror. Well, at least I have so much fun playing and mix matching outfits.

Lately, some of my friends have made some comments regarding to my blog and that makes me really happy because I am noticed. Although, some of them thinks I'm doing some sort of modeling jobs, some other thinks I'm selling clothes. Well, not really! Since I'm only 5ft3, I wouldn't go that far saying I'm modeling (hehehe). And no, I'm not really selling anything but blogging my way of wearing outfits. (^.^) --> I used a lot of smiley in my text, I know it's not appropriate in writing but hey, I just want to let you know I'm smiling at you.

Anyways, I wish It's sunny but It's snowing and I'm so sad.

Oh... Hi there Spring season ~

Hi there Spring season,

There is nothing as warm, as bright, as comfortable as the sunshine in Spring season.  Spring is the season of green, season of blossom, and season of re-juvenile, so "be like flowers, turn your face to the sun" ...

It had been a long winter in Denver, Colorado. I enjoyed waking up in the morning, and first thing I saw outside of my window was snow sticking on the pine trees' branches. However, it is time for Spring season. Although I am having this high Spring season's spirit but the weather in Denver is not quiet that "Spring" yet. Temperature is still in mid 40 - 50*F. It's still a bit too cold to wear a nice, spring-y floral dress. 

Anyways, I just scored a linen short from Forever 21 just for $13.90 and couldn't wait to show it off. But again, I still had to keep myself warm so I decided to wear it with my Zara knit with a Forever 21 trench coat. Both of these items were from last season (I had a thing for cable knit sweater during this past winter, and I think I still do). Ohhh and the boots, I had them for a while now but this was definitely first time worn. They're Ivanka Trump, Keiran Ankle boots (Ivanka Trump's footwear are really really comfortable, I enjoyed wearing every single pairs of boots/flats I owned).  

The background looked like a suburb to me but this field was actually right behind where my parents live.  It took me and my brother about two minutes walk to get there. We grew up in this neighborhood. I remembered there was a massive snow storm a few year back. It was this very same field that was covered in snow, completely white-out beautifully. I made my brother to come out, dived into the snow to take pictures of me playing in with the snow. He said he couldn't recall but how could I? Anyways, here, us two again, at the very same field, tried to capture some more good photos in the very same field. The only difference was the field now full of sunshine instead of snow. (^.~)

Stripes on the move...

Hi there again,

I forgot that I haven't mentioned my name. My name is Hien, friends call me Hiennie [pronounced Hēən-nie ~]. I'm living in mile-high city, Denver.

It has been a week since my last post and I wished I could have written more. Unfortunately, as of right now, my working schedule is conflicted with my brother's school schedule. As you know, my brother is my only photographer and the only day we can go out for a shoot is on a Sunday. We are trying to figure out another way, well, anyways that will work for both of us. Yayyy to spring break which is coming up next week, he will get the entire week off.

Today, we drove down south on Interstate-25 and we came across a pedestrian crossing bridge above the highway. I couldn't recall how many time I drove down on this interstate, almost everyday, twice a day when I was still in college. However, today this bridge stood out and caught my eyes. It could be the sun shined above the bridge, or it could be many pedestrians who were crossing the bridge, I don't know but a second after I drove by, my brother and I decided to go there for our shoot today.

I have lived in Denver for quite a long time, but I didn't realize there are so many places in Denver I have never been to. By doing fun photo shoots, and getting a start on my blog helps me getting some good downtime with my little brother. He is eight years younger than me. It used to be so hard to talk and to find a connection to him. But lately, I have found another side of my teenage brother, he is talented. I know I just got started and it will probably take a while to have some audience to stop by but my brother has been fully supported and given me some really good idea for my photo shoot.

We drove around the city to find a good site for our shoot, and goodness, exploring the city was so much fun and full of surprising. Anyways, it was a sunny day, wind blew strong but again, we both enjoyed the view and our shoot (still working on the quality, and my own postures ~ I still looked so awkward in front of the camera). Today, I had such a big mood for stripes. As you know, stripes has been a hot trend a year round. Only if I had a longer leg, I would love to fill my closet up with stripe clothings.  ~~~ WISHING I WAS just 2inches TALLER~~~
